Join Most Rev. Robert M. Coerver, Bishop of Lubbock, in Mass at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 31, at Christ the King Cathedral (4011 54th St.) in Lubbock, where Deacon Dennis Marcos will be ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lubbock. Reception to follow. The Mass will also be streamed live via the Diocese of Lubbock Facebook Page and the Christ the King Cathedral Facebook Page.
This weekend at Masses in churches across the Diocese of Lubbock is the collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign. Please prayerfully consider how much you can give to spread the Gospel in the United States. Half of the funds collected stay in the Diocese of Lubbock to support local communications efforts.

Ride to Fight Suicide
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (10805 Indiana Ave) in Lubbock, will host the Ride to Fight Suicide by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on May 31. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 9 a.m. The ride goes to Post, Ralls, and back to the church with beautiful curvy scenery, approximately 100 miles. Registration is $35 for every rider/driver and $25 for a passenger. Registration will increase to $40/30 on the day of the event. Breakfast will be provided.

Catholic Charities Gardening Classes
Join Catholic Charities, Diocese of Lubbock for FREE beginner gardening classes for adults age 60 and older. Classes begin, Tuesday, June 3, at 10 a.m.— brand new gardeners or just want to get your hands back in the soil, this is a fun, relaxing way to connect, learn, and grow—together! Space is limited.
